Free Coffee for Thomas Cook Staff
Over the past few days, our hearts have gone out to the thousands of people who have lost their jobs and livelihoods, since Thomas Cook went into administration.
We keep hearing about amazing people who, despite being unemployed, are going above and beyond for the Thomas Cook customers that have been left stranded or needing information.
We are also very big on going above and beyond for our customers and admire anyone who shares these values with us.
To all former Thomas Cook staff - we can't imagine what you are going through at the moment, it must be so tough. Therefore, for the rest of this month, if you pop by any of our outlets you will receive a FREE coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) and a piece of cake on us. Simply bring in your staff ID card or name badge to claim the free coffee and cake. Whilst we know that this won’t solve everything right now, we do know that coffee and cake is always good.
All of our outlets come with super-fast Wi-Fi and provide great venues to smash out CV's. Our team are also very good listeners, so if you need a friendly chat, or cheering up, do come and find us.
We are currently in the process of organising a couple of recruitment events, exclusively for former Thomas Cook staff. We are teaming up with a few businesses who, like ourselves, are always on the hunt for amazing customer focused people. This event will hopefully be run by the Amelix Academy, with coffee and cake coming from our Barista Academy in Canterbury. An expert CV writer will be on hand to give a free session on how to brush up your CV, as well as some interview tips for those who have not had an interview in a while.
