Today, we held our first Visit Reculver Beach Clean for an Ice Cream!
This event has been a huge success, with hundreds of people taking part! We’d like to say a massive thank you to our partners Canterbury City Council, Serco and of course Walls Ice Cream for supplying us with the Ice Cream.
We must also thank Anna Outdoors and Tom from Canterbury City Councils Foreshore Services, for hosting some amazing educational walks to educate our visitors on our local habitat.
This was the first of many circular initiatives, as we aim to embrace the circular economy and have a positive impact on the communities and areas in which we operate.
The final (and probably the most important) thank you goes to the hundreds of people who turned up to the event. You managed to collect dozens of bags of litter which have been (where possible) recycled and if not, responsibly disposed of.
