Shark Teeth and Fossil Hunt with Anna Outdoors

Tuesday 12th August - 9:30AM-11AM

Join Anna Outdoors on a natural treasure hunt with a difference! Explore Reculver’s rocky shore looking for 50 million plus year-old sharks’ fossilised teeth and lots of other fossils! On the journey to sharks’ tooth cliff, we will also explore the shore looking for rockpool residents.

Please note you will be required to walk from Reculver to Bishopstone Glenn and back again along a rocky shoreline.

We have aimed this event at children aged 6 and above but are happy for slightly younger children to attend if you think they would enjoy it.

All children need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian and wear outdoor suitable clothing and footwear. You are not required to book tickets for accompanying adults.

Old trainers with good grip or wellington boots are advised. Please do not wear flip flops.

Car parking not included. Please make sure you book enough time, just in case you get carried away looking for teeth! 

All equipment provided.

Meet in the coastal classroom just behind HatHats Reculver 5 minutes prior to the start of the session.

You are free to walk back along the beach at any point (just let us know so we don't have to send out any search parties). We also include some rock pool equipment/information too.
