On Friday, we welcomed Rosie Duffield MP to our Whitstable South Quay Shed store to talk with our Founding Director Louis about the hospitality industry, local opportunities we are creating in Kent for young people, the recent water issue that affected so many businesses in our area, and what the government can be doing to support hospitality in general. Rosie is one of a growing number of MP’s supporting the #VatsTheProblem campaign, which is petitioning the government to lower the rate of VAT for hospitality to 10%.
