So, we went to Edinburgh. A few of us packed our bags, headed north and tried to play it cool about the fact that HatHats had been named a finalist for SME of the Year at the British Business Awards 2026!! Out of over 400 entries, we managed to get into the top 8.
The evening itself was one of those nights that is hard to put into words; there was lots going on! We didn't win, but it was an honour to even be in the same room as some of the biggest companies in the UK. We represented our little corner of Kent, and that felt like more than enough. Also, George Clooney was there, and we are absolutely putting that in the blog post because why would we not? Rob Brydon was also there, hosting (so funny!), but enough of the name dropping!
All in all, we had a lovely trip, and we came home grateful and full of pride. We're very much ready for whatever comes next. This was a big milestone for us that wouldn't have been possible without our amazing staff and customers who make HatHats what it is every day. Thank you for being part of it.
