Our founder, Louis Hurst, has been in Uganda this week for a run of meetings with partners and stakeholders. Of those, one stood out: the British High Commissioner, HE Lisa Chesney, together with the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce Uganda, paid a courtesy visit to HatHats.
Louis has taken plenty of meetings this year, but this one carried particular weight. A High Commissioner and a Chamber of Commerce Board represent networks of trade, policy, and investment far beyond our own. Having them choose to spend part of their time in Uganda with HatHats, asking real questions, is something we're immensely proud of.
To HE Lisa Chesney and the BCCU Board: thank you for taking the time to see HatHats up close. The event gave us the chance to share our vision for the region, our next phase plans, and to garner some support and feedback from the chamber and the British High Commission.
