Weekend Barista - Herne Bay Central (Zero Hour)

Pay: Age dependent

Job Description:

We're looking for a Barista to join the team at our site at Herne Bay Central within Herons Leisure Centre working mainly at weekends.

HatHats is a business that obsesses about customer service and going above and beyond for the communities we serve. We need someone who will fit into our fantastic coffee and hospitality spaces at Hangloose, or someone who is genuinely willing to learn how. Experience behind a coffee machine or in hospitality settings is useful, but it's not what we hire on.

We need people with a can-do, positive attitude who can help deliver the HatHats experience to the tenants and clients at the site.

The important bits

Your location of work will be HatHats Herne Bay Central as our main weekend Barista, this would suit someone in sixth form or college looking for a weekend job. You must be 16+ to make coffee and finished your GCSE's to comply with the working regulations.

Your hourly rate will be age dependent on your age..

What you'll be doing

Working across our Herne Bay Central site and occasionally helping out at other sites locally (Railway station and possibly Reculver). Making and serving barista coffee, smoothies and frappes, front of house customer service, till operation, keeping the site clean and well stocked as well as helping prepare Pizzas and assisting with birthday parties.

What we're looking for

A genuine people person, calm under pressure, reliable, and a strong team player. Someone with good initiative who doesn't need to be told twice and actually enjoys talking to customers and permanently wears a smile..

How joining works

We start with a Discovery Session at one of our sites which is a presentation from our founder to see whether it feels right before anyone commits to anything. If it does, the next step is a formal application followed by onboarding. We'd also recommend watching a few of our vlogs before you apply at www.youtube.com/hathatscoffee.
