On Saturday 1st November 2020 the UK Government announced a second national lockdown of the UK for Covid-19 requiring all non-essential shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to close for 1 month on Thursday 5th November until early December with the exception of takeaways.
Following a day of planning we have decided to try and keep our sites in Reculver and Canterbury open as takeaway only venues from this Thursday. This follows a successful covid-safe takeaway pilot in May and June this year in Reculver.
The safety of our staff and customers remains our highest priority and therefore we will be constantly reviewing our service to make sure we are operating within the guidelines as well as making sure that our service can still be commercially viable as the weather changes.
The site in Reculver will operate on its normal winter opening hours, however our site at the Barista Academy in Canterbury will operate under reduced hours (Monday – Friday 08:00 – 15:30) and closed at weekends.
We would advise all customers to keep an eye on our social media channels for any changes or exceptions that may happen throughout the lockdown. It is our intention to review the situation every week to make sure we are able to trade.
