This September, we’re teaming up with the organisers of Faversham Hop Festival 2022.
The Faversham Hop Festival relies heavily on fundraising, local goodwill, and sponsorship; without it, the popular festival would not be able to take place. With the community being at the heart of everything we do here at HatHats, we are proud to say that we have contributed the final funds needed for the Faversham Hop Festival to take place this year. After not being able to go ahead for the past two years, due to COVID-19, it certainly will be one to remember!
It is tradition for the festival to take place the weekend after Brogdale Farm’s Cider Festival, with both events celebrating the end of harvest in Kent. This year is no different, with the Faversham Hop Festival taking place on the 3rd and 4th September.
The festival offers an exciting mix of live music, stalls, street performers (including Morris dancing!), a hop blessing, a traditional funfair, and shops with themed hop festival window dressings.
HatHats Faversham, at the Faversham Recreation Ground, has recently celebrated it’s first birthday. For the Faversham Hop Festival, not only will there be our HatHats outlet in Faversham Recreation Ground, but there will be two more HatHats locations (our events trailer and Hattie Van) for the festival weekend to supply attendees with coffees, ice creams, smoothies, frappes, crepes, and cakes. The exact locations of the HatHats events trailer and Hattie Van will be confirmed nearer the time.
We can't wait to get going with this project and we will see you all in September!
