FREE EVENT - 28th September 2024 - 10AM & 12:00PM sessions

Bring the family to Reculver on Saturday 28th September for a Beach Clean and some ice cream. HatHats Coffee Company has teamed up with Walls Ice Cream, Canterbury City Council and Anna Outdoors for a Beach Clean with a difference.

Throughout the day the team from Anna Outdoors will be doing an hour-long educational walk and talk along the coastline educating participants in the local wildlife and ecology of the area as well as what to look out for when beach cleaning yourself, what is safe to clean and the importance of keeping our coast clean and plastic-free, collecting items in our special branded woven reusable sacks.

Everyone who takes part will get to take home their own branded woven reusable sack so they can return to the beach and do a safe and responsible clean whenever they like.

Once you return to the Coastal Classroom you can collect your FREE Walls Ice Cream for taking part as well as collecting a personalised Beach Clean certificate.

This event is a ticketed event and you can only take part if you have a ticket. You can get your hands on a FREE Ticket here. You will need to bring your QR code for each participant to claim your free Ice Cream and place on the walk and talk sessions.

This event is open to families of all ages, we advise that sensible clothing is worn, please take the weather into consideration and bring sun protection if needed. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead throughout the duration of the walk and talk sessions.
